Earthquake Disaster and Airstrike: While Myanmar was hit by 7.7 magnitude earthquake which has killed more than 1600 people, pro-democracy rebel groups fighting to remove the military, reported airstrikes in Chang-U township and thai border areas.

In the natural disaster many people were already killed as quake hit the main region which is Mandalay, many buildings are collapsed, infrastructure are destroyed as the destruction is huge in the area. Special reporter told the BBC, that it was “nothing short of incredible” that the military was continuing to “drop bombs when you are trying to rescue people” after the earthquake.
BBC confirms seven people were killed in air strike in Naungcho in northern Shan state, which happened in less than three hours after the quake struck.

Russia and China have history to supply military weapons to Junta and trained them how to use it now they both sent units to aid and rescue into Myanmar. It concerns that military will use aid as a weapon, has a long history in blocking aid to the resistance areas.
Earthquake making situation more worse in Myanmar, where ongoing conflict and economic instability have displaced millions. International rescue efforts are underway but are hindered by limited resources and continued instability.

India launching Operation Brahma to rescue civilian
India has sent relief materials and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel to help and assist in search and rescue operations after Earthquake Disaster and Airstrike, under the Brahma operation.
